Why Wordule plays differently

No waiting for your turn

Every player builds from the same seven tiles against one deadline, so nobody sits idle while someone else thinks.

Real words only

Every word is checked against a dictionary on the server, so a bluff never scores and nobody has to be the referee.

Friends or strangers

Invite people you know, or get matched with whoever is looking for a game right now.

How to play

  1. 1

Start a game for 2 to 6 players, or accept an invite from a friend.

  2. 2

  4. 4

New tiles, new round. The player with the most points when the bag runs out wins the game.

Common questions

What is Wordule?

Wordule is a free multiplayer word game for 2 to 6 players. Every player shares the same rack of seven tiles and plays the same round at the same time. The highest-scoring word wins the round and locks onto the board.

How is Wordule different from Scrabble?

In Scrabble you wait for your turn and everyone holds different letters. In Wordule nobody waits: every player builds from the same seven tiles against one shared clock, so a round takes as long as the slowest player rather than the whole table combined.

Is Wordule free to play?

Yes. Wordule is free to play in any modern web browser, with no download and no purchase.

Can I play against the computer?

Yes. You can start a game against the computer opponent at any time. Games against the computer are kept out of your statistics so they never distort your record.

What languages does Wordule support?

The interface is available in English and Swedish. Games are played with a Swedish dictionary, and every submitted word is validated against it on the server, so a bluff never scores.

How many players can play at once?

Between 2 and 6 players share a board. You can invite friends directly or be matched automatically with whoever is looking for a game.
